Featured Artist Phoebe Doehring

Meet Phoebe Doehring of happycreations4u
featured artist for the weeks of March 23rd through April 5th

Phoebe lives in Brunswick, Maine with her husband and two sons. Phoebe says this about her life and creative journey:  “I am a mother of two amazing and inspiring boys. They keep me busy along with our two dogs and three cats. I have been married to my best friend and husband for 26 years. We are very blessed to live in the beautiful state of Maine. I have loved art and creating since I was a little girl. I have tried different mediums over time but I have to say that my favorite to date is polymer clay. There is something really fun and exciting when I shape a new creation and give it life and personality.”

Comments from the voters:

As always... so beautiful!
All are talented artists! Look forward to finding out who wins.
All items are gorgeous and such talented artisans!
Hard to interpret this category in a way that allows for enough of a wide range of interpretations. The truest creativity emerges when a category stretches the imagination.
the teapot is beautiful....
At first glance #2 teapot may look "basic", 2nd look you see more than leaves, and the next, I spent time really looking at enlargement. Details in moss, stones, handle, etc, really are what made this piece stand out for me. Along with all the space fillers that are simply done but, for me done right. If all was done in detail I think it would be too much. Perfect balance I think and once again "less is more"!
Beautiful work.
All beautifully expressed works of art.
Such amazing talent - it's hard to vote!
Tough choice. They were all really good!
Beautiful work on all entries.
Very difficult to choose only 3 from these exquisitely crafted pieces! Great artwork!
Love #10
this one was really hard to decide all of you did such a great job.
I am in awe of Linda Clay's talents! I love her whimsical creatures that she creates!
I've been wondering how to fix a switch plate with same problem as #1 and now I know!
Always so hard to choose. I am really drawn to those artists who try something new! Lots of that here.
Thoughts of warm spring!
It has always been hard to choose in the past, but this month is IMPOSSIBLE! How am I supposed to pick only 3?! All 12 are incredibly gorgeous and perfect.
Thanks to everyone who entered. Your work has made me want to get back into my studio and then turn on the oven!
Beautiful work... hard to pick just 3!
Very cool--I love the nature theme!
Lovely work all!
You are all winners in my book!
These are great!
The switch plate cover caught my eye and kept it through the entire process. I kept going back to it, even after thoroughly examining every item.
Amazing pieces this month! So hard to choose just three, great work everyone!!
